Integrating theory and practice through a “hands-on approach.” In the Faculty of Sociology where students study the concept of “society” as a human community, and where they aim to understand relationships between people, between people and organizations, and between people and society, as well as to shed light on a wide range of social issues, students verify the theories that they have studied, in the field. Practical classes are conducted that emphasize training and exercises in a “hands-on” approach where they take these results and reflect them onto theory. Small-group instruction that enables attentive support Appropriate support from the faculty is vital in deepening voluntary studies, and raising individual interests and problem awareness to an academic level that is the study of sociology and social welfare. To achieve this, the Faculty of Sociology offers small-group instruction and professors provide attentive support and advice to each individual student as needed. T.A. and L.A. systems that heighten understanding in classes The Faculty of Sociology offers a T.A. (teaching assistant) system, where graduate students in the same major offer support in particularly important courses. There is also a L.A. (learning assistant) system where upperclassmen knowledgeable in computer operations support in information technology practical classes. Through these systems, the Faculty of Sociology provides attentive academic support where students are free to ask questions whenever they want. A curriculum with a high degree of freedom in selecting courses The Faculty of Sociology emphasizes “voluntary learning” where students decide a study theme by themselves, make presentations and discuss their themes with each other, and to deepen their research. The focus of learning is always the individual students. The Faculty of Sociology offers a curriculum in which each student can discover what they want to do and select courses that match their interests and the path they wish to take. リンクテキスト PDFリンク 外部リンク --> [関連サイト] ○法務省 ○外務省 ○国連広報センター ○矯正保護総合センター GO TO TOP お問い合わせ Quick Links Twitter Facebook YouTube Instagram LINE Admission About Faculties Campus Life researchmap Researcher Database Web Syllabus Web Mail Portal Site Request Sitemap Privacy Policy Accessibility Copyright © RYUKOKU UNIVERSITY.
